Now designers Daniel Madison and Chris Ramsay and artist Oban Jones have sought to capture the piece’s essence in this exquisite deck printed by the United States Playing Card Company.
The cards are printed with metallic gold ink and a red foil back, bringing Jones’ work to elegant life. The custom joker commemorates the drama of a checkmate, a crow already moving in on the king’s fallen “body.” The tuck box is a classic matte with red and gold foil.
